Access and Benefit Sharing Provisions (ABS)

To Strengthen the Implementation of the Biological Diversity Act, 2002 and Rules, 2004 the board has constituted an expert committee to examine the ABS applications and to make recommendations to the board for allowing or otherwise of applications and mode and quantum of benefit sharing. The Board has been conducting number of awareness acivities on this activities among the stakeholders.
